This Week in Gotham – 9/30/2011

This week has, without a doubt, been a very busy one. We sent out beta keys to those that got into our closed beta test, we dropped a brand new video, and we even had our logo and the Office Bat built in Minecraft! But that’s not enough information. No sir (or ma’am), not for you! What say we move along with this week’s wrap-up and get you caught up on any sweet happenings that you may have accidentally missed out on?

Get ‘cha customization on!
As you’re well aware, customization is a huge part of Gotham City Impostors. That’s why we want to show it off to you as much as we can! If you haven’t had a chance yet, you should check out the video that we released this past Thursday. One of our devs, Lucas Myers, customized his very own loadout, put his mad skills on display, and gave everyone here at Monolith a good thrashing. Want to check it out? Give it a gander right here!

The closed beta will officially start on October 5th
There’s been an awful lot of discussion about our beta these past couple weeks. So, we just wanted to take this opportunity to let those of you that made it into the beta know that you should have some brand new information in your inbox right now. If you haven’t seen it yet, check your spam filter! There’s a fancy beta key waiting in there for you, as well as a testing schedule for you to mark down on your calendar. Remember, the fun begins on October 5th, so be ready for mid-week mayhem!

Crafty Minecrafts
One of our forum users, who goes by the name Monkey, is a busy man. So busy in fact, that he, on his very own Minecraft server, has gone ahead and put together two massive tributes to Gotham City Impostors! You can see them all right here. Want to join in on the fun and help him put together some great builds? Then be sure to check out the Modcraft server at!

And that’s it for this week, have a great weekend! We plan on seeing you here next week in one piece. (And hey, if you've got some spare time, why not hang out and chat with us on our forums, Twitter, or Facebook pages?)
