    Lightbulb Learn 2 Counter

This thread will aim to be a friendly help to those of you who are just stumped on a certain tactic, loadout, or strategy. I'll keep this updated as the meta in the game changes and we get new weapons/gadgets from DLC.

You shouldn't plan on playing a game like this with the mindset of simply reacting to everyone. This game is all about having fun. Play your own style. Once in a while, or maybe even often, a certain playstyle will cause you some major problems. If it becomes too much of an issue, than I suggest having a loadout designed to counter them so you can switch midgame if it becomes a problem.
Now obviously, you won't be able to include all the counters into one loadout, I'm just listing options here. Go with as many as you can, or as many as you feel comfortable with.
Make sure you're comfortable with the changes you plan on making. Changing your own playstyle to one you're not familiar with, especially mid-game, will not likely result in your doing better in a game where you were having trouble when you were playing your preferred playstyle.

    //so stay tuned!

    Closing:
It's hard to overestimate how much situational awareness will help you to overcome enemies. This is anything from knowing what an enemy teams loadouts are to knowing when spawns swap (on TDM) to something as simple as knowing where the firefights are going on. Know your enemy. Knowledge is the key to victory. This is as true for wars as it is for games.
Play smart, and these 'OP' loadouts will be free kills and XP for you.

Again, I'll be updating this with other loadouts so stay tuned!
Let me know what your solutions are to these as well and I'll try to add as many as I can (and give credit where due). Also let me know if there are certain loadouts that you're having trouble with and would like some pointers.

Nice. This is beautiful! This counter is really strong too. I been using the things u been mentioning and every gilder person I encounter are just free kills. I'm also wondering if you will be so kind to do a counter for speedy shotgun users. They give me more trouble then the gliding mightys T_T

Yeah. The weapons for that loadout are very interchangeable. I'll be sure to make a note of that in there.

+ Rep for this highly informative post, especially for pointing out how important awareness is, I see so many people just running in straight lines without paying attention to their surroundings, not knowing the enemy can strike from anywhere, anytime.
I hope this gets stickied once itīs finished.

Any Mighty running Kinda Bulletproof instead of Hard Target is running a bad build. Kinda Bulletproof is by far the worst Fun Fact2 int he game, and Hard Target is by far the best. It's no surprise that Hard Target makes Mighty Gliders twice as hard to kill compared to Bulletproof.

IMO, good counter tactics to Mighty Gliders are:

    Combining Fire with teammates
    Combining Fire with teammates
    Bear Traps
    Airspace Deniers
    Toxic Gas
    Boomerangs
    Shotguns
    Hatchets

Firing Squad tactics wreck Mighty Gliders. Simply put, just get some kind of trap ready and coordinate with your team to skeet shoot the Mighties before they get to you. If there's more than one, spread out and let the remainder(s) get caught in your traps and become easy clean ups for your team. Remember, you know where they are going to land, so get your stun traps placed accordingly. IMO, Bear Traps actually work the best, because they stay there forever and you get two of them per player.

It won't be long before the Mighty Gliders become hesitant to fly and become an unorganized mess.

You can tell someone's using NSB's with the Targeting Goggles because you sorta lock-on to something invisible but don't get anything. If you're playing with a team, you can warn them but otherwise, you can't highlight them as long as their cloak is active. Even if you highlight them while they're visible, they'll shed the tag!

Also, you forgot to mention the audible tells of a NSB. I use it a lot (or even exclusively sometimes), and have learned to spot my own kind simply from sound. Good ninjas use the chaos of combat to mask their sound. Both active cloak and deactivating cloak have very loud sounds that give players with headphones a distinct advantage against ninjas.

Also, my favorite way to deal with a known ninja is the Persuader. You can spot a ninja visually but it can still be hard to see them if they keep moving. I find a full-auto gun to be a detriment as spraying may get you some damage but as soon as the ninja realizes you have to reload, he may pounce on that opportunity.

With the Persuader, you only need to confirm for a second that your sights are on top and pull the trigger for high damage then repeat when you feel sure about your aim again.

    Great guide.
