We're restoring XP and Costume Coins!

Earlier this month we announced that we were hard at work testing a tool that will allow us to give XP and Costume Coins to those that have been affected by the stat wipe bug. We're extremely happy to announce that it's fully operational, and we've already started giving back XP and Costume Coins back to those that have lost them!

NOTE: If you're experiencing additional XP gains after you close the game, and then subsequently open it, that's just the XP we've restored to you. In order to prevent this from happening any further (since it's only reflected in your UI, and won't be added multiple times), just play through a single match.

So, what exactly do you need to know about this process?

• This process is going to happen in waves, not all at once. Additionally, we'll be running these waves continually until the issue is completely resolved.
• The XP and Costume Coins that we're giving you to you won't reset your current totals. Anything that you've gained since you were reset is yours to keep.
• When we send you the XP and Costume Coins, you'll see a prompt when starting up Gotham City Impostors. Do not confuse this with the community challenge prompt. It'll inform you that you've been gifted an amount of XP in the form of a Community XP Award. However, the Costume Coins are a bit more subtle - they can be found in your Costumes menu!

From all of us here at Monolith, thank you for your continued support. Know that there's a slight chance that this error can still happen on the Xbox 360, and a fix is currently on the way. (This error is a thing of the past for PC and PS3 players.) We'll be sure to keep you posted on the progress of that, as it happens, so that you're always in the loop.

Do you have any further knowledge about if people who were unfortunate enough to be reset twice will be able to receive everything owed to them?

I Myself have been reset twice. 1st at level 62 and the 2nd time at level 67. I was 200 Headshots away from full Gatekeeper Mastery and 5 more Mvps to finish my Fumigation feats. Im actually scared to get on GCI until the bug is fixed. Also my stuff was reset when my bf came in and switched profiles from mine to his at the main menu. Ive dumped alot of time and effort into this game. I even convinced my friends to join. I dont want to get a refund as I love this game and have fun with it. (when it works) Ive managed to get over 3k costume coins. And I lost it all. Just hope you guys get this thing fixed. Also you might want to include a cloud service save option.

Same here. I don't wanna have to wait three weeks for this to be fixed.


And what about feats that we have completed as well as other things we have unlocked (ie. paint jobs, calling cards, symbols, catch phrases)? Will those be put back as well? I spent a lot of time working on feats, and I was nearly completed with some of them. It is really hard to do some of them, so I would like some sort of compensation for that if you can't at least post them back up.

prepare to be pissed. They have said xp and coins spent..i have not heard one reply on feats so that means no. I wouldn't worry about it though you won't see the xp given back anytime soon either. I am going on 3 weeks ago i posted about my loss...nothing but excuses everytime i send back in a personal message to skaar. This game should be boycotted by everyone for this piss poor service. Meanwhile they continue to promote the upcoming DLC when the damn initial game is still broke.
