Party invites and joining

is anyone else having trouble joining a game with a friend? every time i join a friend and he joins a match i get kicked automatically. its really irritating. whats the point of going online if i cant play with a friend.

In a way, I wish in game joining wasn't brought into the whole GCI equation of gameplay.
It just seems to have brought more problems. I've had times where me and a friend in
my party were in 2 completely different games. Meh..

thats just weird. but like in my case i just sit in the main menu while he has fun in game
