by noobish heavy weapon? do you mean jackhammer cause that gun is super beast and definitely makes up for the slow rate of fire and reload with power, you just see a bunch of bad kids dying with it

    Re: Which guns are keepers?

Right now, I'm using the Huntsman. Dear God, it is amazing. I'm running around as a Burly on Rollerskates, and I'm just picking headshots left and right. And if I run out of ammo, I'll just switch to my Gatekeeper to take out whole crowds.

Other weapons that are nice for your class suggestions, though: I've always been partial to the Buccaneer, as aside from the one exception [Hard Target], it will always kill with a headshot. A good back-up weapon would either be the Gatekeeper or Persuader. In fact, for all your classes, just have a Gatekeeper or Persuader as back-up. I'd also recommend the Grapple Gun for your sniper class, as it lets you get into some good positions. And I always run with the Motion Sensor on my sniper class as it tracks anyone, even NSB users in it's radius. As for Body Type, I favour the larger bodies, so I run with a Tough. Good all-around, but not too easy to hit. I use the Wallflower and Marksman Fun Facts, so I can't be tagged, but deal lots of damage.

As for the rushing and stealth class, I'd recommend Nimble bodies for both, as well as a Gatekeeper for both. For your rushing, definitely a shotgun back-up. I've never used the Chaperone, so I can't say which shotgun you should pick for a rushing class, but either way, a shotgun. And again, for both of them, a hatchet is a must. Once you get used to it and can throw it accurately, it is your greatest weapon against Tanked Mighties. Rollerskates for your Rushing class, and Ninja Smoke Bombs for your Stealth. I go with the Bear-Stalker for back-up on the Stealth, as it's silent by default, as well as awesome range and power. Wallflower is a must for stealth as well, and it'd be handy to have either Marksman or Kinda Bulletproof, depending on if you want to deal a bit more damage or take a little bit more. As for your Rushing class, I'd recommend Horse Healthy for more health.

For your Motivator, simply put, you're going to need to Tank. Hard Target, Horse Healthy, Body Armour. I've had better luck as a Mighty than as a Burly Motivating.

I also recommend making a Troll class. You know: Mighty, Body Armour, Heavy Weapon, Glider Rig. I prefer the Shredder over the Jackhammer, but either way I keep a Gatekeeper as back-up. Hard Target is a must against snipers, and Horse Healthy can be handy, as it makes your Max Health and insane 322. And once that's done, just start trollin'!
They see me trollin', they hatin', Shooting, they tryin to catch me flyin' Mighty.

    Re: Which guns are keepers?

im at lvl 250 and i would say my favorite guns are
    The Gate Keeper (Golden)
    The Shredder (Golden)
    The Dawn Patrol (Golden)
    The Bear Stalker
    The Chaperone (Golden)
And I usually get 1 golden gun each promotion but if you really want to promote every chance you get i would suggest holding off on it if your about to get a golden gun.

Do you know what I love about this game? Things like this thread. People are suggesting Gatekeeper, Dawn Patrol, Partisan, Jackhammer. Shredder and Persuader, and then others jump in with guns like the Huntsman, Bear Stalker etc. Personally, I really like the Desperado. This game is so balanced (yes mightys with Jackhammers and Shredders can get annoying), and all the weapons are useful.

Totally agree....great balance and fun weapons/gadgets make GCI stand apart from the FPS deluge

Unless your aim is pretty damn awful I think you can see the advantage in that. Trust me, when I play with goggles it gets me mad points because of this. As soon as the guy arrives he gets shot at, often by 2 or 3 people on your team that were watching him come, while he had no idea anyone was even there.
Agreed. I can't even play without my goggles for this very reason. I mean, not only for the team beneift, but being able to see anyone coming gives the biggest advantage this game has imo. Ofc, I've come across a whole organized team of wallflower users, and that puts a hamper on my day. But the goggles for me are a must.

You should always be using Hard Target unless you are countering a specific person. Everything else is just bad unless you're using it to counter some gimmicky build, then switch back to Hard Target.

Also, Bulletproof is totally worthless, as is Marksman outside of VERY FEW Sniper counter-builds. Easily the two worse FF2's by far.
