Is this correct? (Release date Beta start date?)

I'm not one to start threads (I hate it) but I found an article on N4G saying that WB announced that the game is set to launch in January 2012 and that the Beta is expected to go live in December. Is this true? I feel like us forum goers would have learned about this first.

Did WB really announce this or is it all bunk?

EDIT: I guess this is all true! WB announced that the game will release January 10th and the open Beta will start in December. Knowledge is power!

sweet! i wonder if they will address this in the upcomming Q&A just so we can get a solid confirmation. nice find brash! i was getting worried the beta would start this month...i was thinking "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO twil interupt my skyrims!" but now i can sit back and game in the confidence that i will be done with skyrim by the time the beta goes live.

so i can kick back and pops some domes!

OR this could be one of the jokers insane schemes to torture us poor little gamers by giving us excitement and then crushing our hopes and dreams
