Why nerf the snipers?

I don't know if anyone realized this but since the free dlc update the snipers have been nerfed.
Here's the problem, non scoped shots do half the damage of scoped shots, as they always have. Before the update as soon as you scoped in you would do full damage. That way instead of using that stupid needle sight the Buccaneer has you can use the hip-fire reticle to line up your shot. Now when you scope in you have to wait for your shot to do full damage. This is ridiculous the snipers are hard enough to use, now when I figure out a way to use it effectively and get it maxed out they nerf it? Common.

Good News. Over the past couple of days I have been using the Marshal and Buccaneer and have realized that they have been given a bit of a buff. Now you don't have to wait as long after you scope in for your shot to do full damage. You can't be nearly as fast as before the update but now they are quite usable again. Who said complaining never accomplished anything?

I snipe using the Buccaneer and I have noticed no difference tbh

shoot someone as soon as you scope in and you will see that it will only do 90 damage opposed to 180.

Quick scoping has been on the fix list for a while now.

Do you play on console or pc? It could have always been lag issues associated with the update last night. I tried a lot of different lobbies.
