Is it true that at 100 you only have 5 psych profiles unlocked?

And that promoting locks them again? What's the point of having so many psych profiles if we don't even get access to them 99% of the time? Are we really FORCED to complete the psych profile challenges throughout the course of our promotions and not simply have access to them and be able to pick up anything we're missing on our last promotion if we so choose?

As for the Psych profiles, it doesn't seem odd to me considering that you get 5 custom classes.

Then why allow you to unlock so many weapons, so many mods, so many faces, gadgets, support items? I mean, you ONLY have 5 classes, you surely wouldn't want to change them around at all, so why let us unlock more than 5 of anything for each slot?

Not to mention there are CHALLENGES for these things. So it should be ok that you don't get the chance to complete every challenge simply because you can't unlock everything? Terrible decisions/logics.

Seriously? You think that I'm saying all the psych profiles should unlock AT 100? You have 70+ levels to play with them and only unlock FIVE? On top of that you need hundreds of thousands of XP to level at later levels, yet the potential xp boost is nulled because you don't get xp at 100? Are you kidding me?

Unlocking five of like... 12 psych profiles isn't a red flag, but unlocking pretty much everything else is fine? This is ridiculous.

I'd take a COD model over this, where things are unlocked in a given order and once I hit the max level I have EVERYTHING unlocked, as opposed to being given a choice to unlock most weapons and gadgets and a few psych profiles. Even if I had to complete goals with weapons or whatever to unlock the things that aren't unlocked through leveling. It's kind of sad that we only get FIVE psych profiles and no one else seems to give a damn about that limited selection.

The way it stands it means you have to unlock different psych profiles each promotion til you max them all out, you can't decide you want to play as an assist team player and unlock the calling card elements for the team objective profile if you didn't unlock it. Forcing you to play a way that you don't necessarily want to play. And then LIMITING your xp gain to 100.

It's not about not getting bonus xp (or COSTUME COINS) in the case of the bonuses from psych profiles, it's about the fact you get locked out of xp bonuses (CHALLENGES) throughout leveling as well as just plain limited.

I have to agree with OP. The mere thought of being unable to have all of the Psych Profiles unlocked at one time is ridiculous. I would understand them letting you keep a Psych Profile or two per promotion, so that by the final promotion, you have all of them unlocked. That would be understandable. That would let you play with your builds, tinker, test, and see what was the best. But to just lock them over and over again, expecting you to go through all sorts of bull just to get superficial toys for bragging to other people?

That's when I start calling BS.

One side question that is important, do you really not gain any bonus points towards the psych profiles at 100, or do you get the points, but it doesn't mean anything to leveling?

Then, it is kind of true, at some point everything should be unlocked. Maybe not before a couple promotions, or maybe it can be unlocked by some alternate method, but eventually in one way or another everything should be unlocked.
