Why the bombadier is so under rated?

I still have to understand how to use well the bouncing bombs ( i am using mortars atm, more easy and more damage) ^^ just tried them once but fail, maybe i will give some try but how much damage bouncing bombs do? Some suggestion about take aim/time? ^^

Those are really good for clearing out campers, I would use mortars for everything else.

The thing takes for ever to charge up and half the time it lags on release. I can never time it right because it seem to change depending on connection. Its only good use in my eyes is in obj games
