Hello, my name is Blacky!

I am an Aries, Year of the Dog.

I like comic books, cartoons, movies, novels, TV shows, and roleplaying, all in the science fiction, fantasy, horror, super hero, and Victorian to Noir mystery genres.

I went to school to become a music teacher, though ended up switching to computer operations and programming.
I am now, years later, medically retired, in a wheelchair, and happy to shake my cane at whippersnappers and tell them to get off my lawn.

I enjoy old school jazz, blues, soul, classical, and 70s-80s punk music, and am a big fan of modern mash-ups.
I also appreciate goth, cyberpunk, and industrial music, as well as some of the less identifiable eclectic styles, like chap-hop, Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer, cabaret, burlesque, Tesla-coil tunes, and experimental steampunk.

I collect old Egyptian papyrus and statues, I am a chocoholic, I drink too many energy drinks, and I like cephalopods.

Introducing one's self is important part to any community. That being said, Blacky has hit a homerun with the concept of one thread for intros. It helps keep things less cluttered. but nonetheless, i guess its my turn.

My name is Todd Evf (pronounced Eve-ph). I am a Capricorn, Year of the Wood (Yang) Rat.

I worked a few years in production until they "clamped down" on wanting certification, since then it has been a matter of writing. For the better part of the last decade, I have compiled many pages of written word with some semblance of cohesion all the while trying to piece together numerous supernatural crime thrillers. That plan has led to no less then 7 half completed novels and an 8th which is a growing collection of short stories involved in that series' universe.

A fan of many types of music, I can not single one out as a favorite. Musically, I am all over the board. Same would go for my tastes in cinema. There have been known occurrences of purposely subjecting myself to some of the worst movies ever filmed. Television is a different thing entirely, as shows like Burn Notice, Deadwood, Twin Peaks, White Collar, NCIS, Law & Order SVU, and Reaper top my list.

Due to downturns in the economy, I currently waste my talents working for major retailer. One skill not wasted is acting, something i studied for several years.

I collect many things be them comics, movies, or figures to name a few. I was once an avid player of Vampire: The Masquerade (P&P), something I feel will one day return to my life.

Food-wise, I enjoy many types, but love Latin cuisine. There is also something about Reese's Peanut butter cups and Reese's Pieces. Something about not letting a bag have contents for long.

I also can't say no to a good Absinthe or single malt scotch.

My name's Jungos60. I'm an Aquarius, Year of the Ram (or Sheep can't remember right now).

I'm a College student working my way into getting myself a Bachelors Degree in Arts. I don't really have a favorite genre of music, but I have favorite bands like Queen and Hollywood Undead. The only two things that I'm really into is Video games and Anime. My Favorite shows include but not limited to The Big Bang Theory, Mike and Molly, South Park, and The Simpsons.

As for Favorite Food, I pretty much like any food (Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, Italian) but I absolutely HATE Seafood (with Sushi as the exception) and I'm VERY addicted to Milk Duds and Root Beer.

Ok. besides that...I have a thing for Art, Music, TV, Film, Manga, Anime, Comics, Cartoons and Video Games. I'm hoping on making entertainment out of sketches, comic strips and flash animations and I have a knack for 'shoot-em up' games.
