Gangs

Hi all!
Recently I have seen a lot of people asking questions about gangs and how they work so I decided to make this thread to help those who are confused about how the gang system works.
First of all, there are currently 5 gangs in Gotham City Impostors:

1. Wharf Rats
2. Killa Watts
3. Carnies
4. Hazmats
5. Alley Cats

Now each gang has its own map. You will receive an invitation from the gang when you do great and earn lots of XP in their map.

Wharf Rats ---> The Docks
Killa Watts ---> Gotham Power
Carnies ---> Amusement Mile
Hazmats ---> Ace Chemical
Alley Cats ---> Crime Alley

If you are tired of one gang want to join another one don't worry, you won't lose your progress in that gang. For example, I am a level 3 Wharf Rat. I switch to Carnies for a while, then rejoin the Wharf Rats. I won't have to start over and will still be level 3.
So the best and fastest way to level up in your gang is to figure out which map you do your best in and stick with it. Now go out there and collect cool stuff from your favorite gang!

With the recent upset in what happened so suddenly to the Gangs on the Xbox 360 this is the 3rd thread regarding Gangs on the FIRST PAGE! It is now getting to the point of just becoming spam. People need to do a search for what they want to know before making a random thread about it to avoid cluttering up our forums. For the Gangs you don't even need to search, just look towards the bottom of your computer screen! Seriously people... Soorena, this is a good explaination of what Gangs are, their maps, and how they work. However I will not be surprised if I see the same information on other threads relating to Gangs. However, it is nice that you have it all together in one place so neat and clean.

I actually did search but didn't find all the info I needed. So I decided to put it all together so people don't make more threads and ask about how gangs work. The mods really need to make one thread and explain all this so people stop asking.

We need to get the wiki announced to the GCI community and out there for everyone to see. It also need to be finished! I plan on adding to it once I can learn how to bring up a url image of weapons/ect in the way I saw someone do the promotion emblems, the Calling Card Backgrounds, and the Calling Card Background Symbols.

Yeah I can't wait as it will stop so many spam threads which are just annoying when I just want to read some funny things that have happened to people
