First off I never implied you suck. Never said that. So I'm not sure why you're throwing that in my face. On the contrary. I looked up your stats and said that someone with as much experience as you have should not be complaining about tactics, but instead, adapting to them.

Secondly, explosives would have made life very tough for everyone in that tight space. If you don't have a contingency loadout with explosives that is your fault. Not anyone elses fault. Make one and you'll be prepared in the future. You have 5 slots. Pick one to be a splash damage jerk. Hell, you could even use a default class if you don't have a custom. Defender rocks a TD and the Scout rocks a Bombadier.

Third, your page out of my book doesn't even make sense bro. 1) I haven't been proven wrong. 2) I haven't cried to anyone let alone my mom. 3) I also never said I was special. Although I like to think my omelets are pretty spectacular.

Fourth, I'm pretty sure GCI doesn't need you to White Knight for the community. Especially for something like this, which is a non-issue. You saw a couple of guys do this in a handful of games. Is everyone out there doing this? Nope. SO LET IT GO. Again, I'm not bashing you. I haven't once. It's not my style. Sarcasm, yes. Personal attacks, no. The only thing I've done is comment on your behavior. Read my posts again. I'm not sure why you've decided to make a mountain out of a molehill, but you're arguing a lost cause.

Personally, I don't have a problem with people boosting ranks, per se... Certainly not a problem with teamwork. The thing that we should all consider a problem is unsporting conduct. There's no reason why people can't use teamwork to mop up the other team in a team deathmatch game, but when you join Psych Warfare, more than likely you expect to play some Psych Warfare.

Long story short, this boils down to a personal problem not a faulty game mechanic.

Also if you were unable to flush out the enemies with the ways I suggested you were doing it wrong.

Lastly, unsporting conduct should be expected in an online video game at this point and that is not enough to warrant a ban, stat reset, or whatever else you would like to see happen.

I still don't see how it's boosting stats if we were defending the bomb. I don't like the game type so I would assume you are saying this because by holding the bomb, you gain a ton of points. If that's not what happens, then I don't see how that is "boosting stats". You were able to kill us, you did so many times. So maybe you think we were boosting your K/D? I don't know but you need to stop being a cry baby and listen to everyone else when they say you need a specific explosive class to defend against said strategy.

Anyone know how we can report if someones cheating? I hate getting people on my team and just hide around the map and kill each other. If you know who to tell would love the info.

I ran into this on TDM. I rampaged with my mighty and went in killin' fools with the falcon blade, and ALMOST murdered the entire squad. One got away. *sniff*

Well this thread has delved into a giant flamewar.

Regardless of what happened in the OP's game, this kind of turtling in capture the flag type games is generally frowned upon in most games I've played. Its not hacking, its not cheating, but it does completely go against the objective of that game mode and serves to make the experience decidedly not fun for the opposing team, and more often than not just encourages people to quit out mid-game and not bother.

It reminds me of the days of Warsong Gulch in WoW, when one side would sit with a tank and a boatload of healers, refusing to cap the flag in favor of farming the other team. It is lame all around, and defeats the purpose of an objective based mode. Team Deathmatch exists for those who wish to farm kills. Don't force that type of gameplay on an objective gamemode.

This is precisely why so many games implement mechanics to ward against turtling and flag (in this case the battery) holding. The usual formula is that the flag holder becomes increasingly more vulnerable as time goes on with the flag uncapped - they are healed for less, they might have a stacking damage over time debuff, or their defenses dropped. Any of those would be good solutions.

Thats not worth reporting. Thats playing as a team not cheating.

IF they try and attach the battery last second to get a win, then it is a team move, albeit an extremely cheesy one.
But if they take the objective, (battery) and hide with it, without intention of ever fulfilling the actual goal of the map, then it is definately stat boosting. And Stat boosting on that scale should lead to a stat reset.

personally, having been in that or those matches, if your team wants to throw themselves at us and give us kills then whatever. i cant be arsed sticking in that room for long with busted and his boys as i normally roll as a mid class and the heavy at the back camping on the roof of the battery plant on docks was rather annoying. the other thing is that you were getting kills and some of your team were flanking and getting in, but dont go trying to get someone in **** just because you sucked hard and you weren't working as a group. were at the top of the overall leaderboard for a reason yea, you dont believe me, go look for our names among the top 5 :P
