GANG WAR (Official Thread)

Slightly unrelated to all other posts in this thread, but does anyone know the unlock levels for gangs? I know at level 2 you get a catchphrase, but can anyone help me beyond that?

What is the difference? As far as I can tell it does nothing but give you some catch phrases. I was a carnie because I liked the name but since that map is laggy 99 percent of the time I play it to the point that it is hard to get kills I switched to the hazmats because they offered. I really do not care which gang I am in. Also, I can not help but feel a little bitter towards those who say "Represent" on a forum about a virtual gang that they do nothing with but join. It just sounds stupid and pathetic to me.

It's really just a waste of your energy to feel angry towards people enjoying something, you'd be much better off finding something you have fun doing instead. Also, while I don't feel as strongly as some people, I do enjoy the sense being a part of a larger whole, even if it is mostly meaningless in the grand scheme of things. When you get down to it, it's just people having a good time, something you should never feel bitter about. If it doesn't float your boat, move on to something else.

Here is the thing. I did not at any time say that I disliked the idea of gangs because I do not. I was simply asking what the difference was as i do not understand how there can be a gang war when gangs are merely a title and nothing more. There was no need for you to comment and tell me to leave. The only thing I even said that was negative was that I admitted that I think it sounds stupid when people say "represent." Do not act as though you are superior because I do not get all the comments about gangs. You could have easily said "You are right there is not a big significance, people are just enjoying the idea of it and making up reasons for their gangs to be better." I would have said "Oh, okay. That makes sense."
