I do freeze ninja stars and roller skates. Boomerang works too, but it's impossible to get multikills that way.

I'm actually seeing it be used more and more each day on ps3, and when I'm just stuck frozen somewhere I feel like the whole team sees it then two seconds later I get a nice wake up call.....

And why is that? It's a fun gun to use. It's a great counter for most uber-defensive builds. Since it's freeze chance is not 100% is not OP and broken, and you still have a few seconds to fire some shots off if you're frozen. Oh.. and by the way, it's fun.

While I love my gatekeeper I wouldn't mind using a freezer every now and then it helps with getting knife kills and then you can tea bag them when they die to make the player mad especially if they were your nemesis.

yeah its "fun" not good.
it is a watered down bearstalker and should be changed to a continuous beam or a spray

I unlocked it the other day, it's a really fun gun to use. What I really like about it, is that if you freeze someone and a teammate secures the kill for you; you still get the count that you killed the person.

+1, i am here from 2 days but it became my flavored choice (since other weps are not too much good) , really got my first killstryke with it and hatchet+knife.

Also to been killed from a high level 44 just cuz i killed him and his mate from a roof by freezing both of them (and googled them so my team came to aid), is something that satisfy my sadic vein .

yeah it is not an easy weapon but it is a psyco warfare weap .
