I may have stopped my stats from resetting

So earlier today I got on GCI and it wanted me to agree to the terms of service again. My heart sank (because i read someones complaints on here and knew what was up) and i just agree'd to them but when it started to contact the site i kept pressing circle, didn't work so i turned off the system. I go on here, post in the "Stats resetting? Let us know more here!" thread and didn't touch the game at all. I think long and hard about whether i'd like to continue the game or not and at 12 am i decide to play. I get on and when i load up team death match i see that my level is the same as it was. I go into my loadout's and everythings there. I don't know if I got lucky, or my turning off of the system stopped it but im glad.

I've read another post about someone avoiding a stat reset this way.. but on the other hand a friend of mine tried to restart the game several times and his stats were lost anyways (maybe his data really got corrupted due to a game freeze while saving)..

However: the devs/admins should definately look into this, if a quit/restart game is enough to restore stats then this thread should be a sticky

Thanks for the info. If it happens to me, I'll try what you did. If it works, I'll walk half across the globe to hug you. If, it doesn't, I'll still owe you a hug for trying to help... I'll just be too depressed to go more than a few miles.

I officially half to walk half across the globe to deliver you a hug. Today, when I signed on, I got the dreaded size the picture screen. I did what you suggested. And, when I signed back on, my stats were there. Thanks.
