PAX 2011 - Beers, tournaments, free Xbox 360's and you!

As I'm sure you're well aware, this weekend the 2011 edition of the Penny Arcade Expo is happening in Seattle, WA at the Washington State Convention Center. If you're one of the many that are fabulous enough to attend, chances are good that you've got a personal calendar that's chock-full of exciting events. And you know what? I'm here to tell you that you've got two more to add!

First things first, we want to welcome everyone, out-of-towners and locals alike, to kick off the incredible weekend with an over-the-top party right next to the convention center. There we'll have a 4v4 setup for anyone that wants to get some hands-on time with Impostors, our developers will be hanging out to chat with you, and there will be plenty of beer (on us!). Want to attend? Of course you do! Drop by our booth to pick up an invite, and be ready to join our festivities on Friday night from 9pm-12am. And remember, you need to be 21 or older!

And don't forget, on Sunday at our booth from 12pm-4pm we'll have a 'Beat the Devs' tournament! The prize? A brand new Xbox 360 for you and each of your team members. Check out more details in our blog post right here.

Hoping on a plane to head that way in about 8 hours. I'm going to have to miss the Twisted Pixel panel to go to the party but it sounds worth it.

Also, I'm totally entering that tourney. I played a couple of rounds at E3 and I was on top for each. Xbox, you're mine!

I was going to go, but the damned thing sold out so quickly, and I have had zero luck finding tickets elsewhere.

It's sad, because it is just down the street from my apartment!
I think I will leave Seattle for the weekend and avoid the temptation of sitting outside PAX with a sad puppy expression.

Apparently my girlfriend took a break from stalking Wil Wheaton to go on a swag hunt to see what she could get me.
She has not let me know if/when she stopped by to see the Bats and Clowns gaming goodness, but I am sure fun was had by all!
