Anyone getting SSX Deadly Descent?

Every time I see a new trailer I get more excited. Looks like it could be the best out of the series. SSX Tricky is by far my favorite so far.

But with Mass Effect 3 and the Star Wars R2-D2 Xbox around the corner I'll have to wait til it comes down in price.
It's been far too long for a sequel, I watched some one hour video where they demoed it and it looks amazing! The new menu system / GUI setup seems pretty intuitive too.

Yes yes 1000x yes! When the game was first announced I passed out from account of screaming. I actually have not seen any trailers or gameplay after they talked about what the Online community would be like. I'm getting it no matter what, so I would like to be surprised a little when I do.

I am actually one of those intense SSX3 fanboys. I enjoy all the other titles a great deal, believe me (except Blur), but I feel that 3 is the superior title in absolutely every way imaginable. Customization is better, sountrack miles ahead of Tricky, gameplay is tighter, it has Viggo, and most importantly the feel of it. SSX3 was in a way a free-roaming way. Hundreds of challenges could be accessed by roaming around, like a thousand collectibles, and most importantly you could start at the top of a peak and work your way all the way down the mountain without loading screens or anything. I just, I loved that.

Yea I agree. I've been playing SSX3 a little bit to get my hyped for this game. Thats one of my favorite things to do in it is just start from the very top and work my way down listening to the great music.

What I like about the new one coming is you can upload your own soundtrack and the game will remix it for you.

What does it mean by Remix for you? Like, in SSX3 how it would take the song and slow it down during Monster Air, or extend lots of sections/cut out vocals to make sure it lasted the entire section? That was soooo freaking amazing.
Is this allowable on the PS3 as well?

Aaaand, no Viggo, right? WTH man, he was easily, easily the coolest, funniest character in my opinion.

Yea I believe thats what they mean. And yea no Viggo but they might have some DLC knowing EA.

Elise is my favorite character also some of the new characters seem intriguing.

SSX3 was my favorite in the series too. All the customizing was saaaaweeet, then Blur came along and took it all out! and it was just 'remixed' courses! very disappointing. im excited at this prospect of remixing your own songs into the game.

From the trailers and gameplay videos, the game looks pretty boss. However, I don't think that I have ever played an SSX game, so I'm hoping that there is a demo or something so i can try it out. But, if it gets good reviews I'll probably just buy it right away.

There IS a demo for the game, and friends have been telling me it is awesome.

OMG everyone this game finally drops TOMORROW! I'd be even happier than my sporadic capslocking shows, however, if I could actually play it then. I pre-ordered it at home so I cannot play it until next Monday, but when I do, oh God yes.
