It said something along the lines of failed to save "so and so" try again? Before it reset all my stuff. I can't remember what it said exactly though, but it was something like that, I know it said failed to save something.

Some people have been restored I think cause some people said they have been. But so far, it doesn't seem they are even trying to restore everyone back to what they were. There is no point of playing without our stuff back though.

Check the main page of the website, they are just beginning to reset everyone and they had to make a patch to keep the issue from happening again. Upgrade the version on your console and download the DLC pack (if available, currently only xbox) and wait. Play anyways, with the community challenges up until Wednesday, costume coins are easy to come by right now.

Soo, anyone yet? I responded around two days or so after the mail came saying it could all be fixed. Still nothing. I also hit up the email they listed with my info. I know they have to check leaderboards for information for each and every person. I'm trying to be understanding. But now the new content is out and I really was looking forward to populating the servers again. But I need my stuff back, I'm not restarting again only to be reset a second time. This stinks. Here's hoping we get some resets soon, as I haven't seen a single person yet say it's happened. Of course, I only go about 15 pages back but still. Did anyone get fixed?

Nope. I'm in the same boat. Replied to the pm same day, sent all my info and have been waiting since then. I eventually gave in and started playing the game again. Got a reset prompt at one point, but it seems that as long as you don't accept the screen size thing and just back out to the dashboard, everything will be cool.

I've seen no evidence whatsoever that anyone has had anything restored.

My stats were reset over two weeks ago. I posted on this thread immediately. I replied to Skaar's PM hours after it was sent. I have received nothing. Nobody on my friends list who was reset have been restored. I've seen no posts about people being restored on the forums. Furthermore, people are still being reset after the patch that was supposed to fix it, as demonstrated in the last few pages of this thread.

I think I've been more than patient and understanding, but I'm honestly starting to believe the whole affair has just been a bunch of lip service and this problem will never be directly addressed or fixed. Just about done here.

I've had the game since the day it launched. I turned it on the day after the new content released. 2-25-12 The game made me re-agree to all the terms of service and I was reset to level one. I noticed on 2-24 that none of my shots or thrown items were registering on the screen. I could move and shoot but no hits were registering at all, even at point blank range. Please fix this problem ASAP.

How: Earlier today I linked up my game with my Warner Bros account and played for a while. For some reason the game would pause for around 5-10 minutes after a number of matches, following the MVP line-up. Eventually it'd return me to the main menu with a "Lost connection to host" message. After getting tired of being faced with this repeated post-game pausing (this being the first time facing such a problem) I turned the game off. Upon launching the game later in the day it acted as if it was my first time opening it and asked me to adjust screen resolution, and agree to private policies etc; as well as wiping my stats and costume coins, making me a scared level one, alone and delicate in a world full of experienced psychopaths in fancy-dress.

I have no idea if any of this helps or even has any relevance to the problem but hey, can't hurt to let you know. Hope you're able to track down and punch this stupid problem in it's stupid problem face. Yeah, that'll learn it.
