Gang Rank : How Do You Increase It?

After you've played a game, you know the after match reports that come up? The one with the gang info is on page 4. It takes a while to rank up though - several hours for me to get to rank 2. I think you just have to be a member of the gang for a significant length of time and win matches. Seems pretty cool, but I agree with the dude who said there's not enough info available on it. Maybe we're just supposed to guess lol.

I can't get the 4th page to load on the Xbox 360. It reports a connection error/please try again later. Anyone else seeing this?

My first invite to a gang was from the Killawatts. However, since I have an old school tv and can't really read info on the particular gangs I thought I would go freelance until I found out more info on them over the internet. Only a few matches later I get another invite from the Killawatts lol, maybe Im meant to shine bright yellow for my GCI career.

Edit: Its also ironic that I've received no other invites from other gangs, like I said maybe its fate.

Basically if you finish top 3 on any map you will get an invite. Or if your mvp one of the two I haven't payed enough attention to tell, all I know is that I get an invite from almost each gang after almost every game. From what I have gathered your gang rep increases by finishing top 3. That is what I have noticed and is just my observations. Not sure if its 100% accurate though.

Please excuse me if this was answered, but if you're in a gang can you still get invites from another gang?

Yup. And if you switch gangs you keep your rep you have with the one you left. That way if they ever recruit you again and you want to go back you dont start at level 1 again

Each gang has a particular map they belong to: Carnies to Amusement Mile, Killa Watts to Gotham Power, so on. So basically keep playing and after level 12 you will be sent a gang invite by whatever map you played last. Afterwards, it is seemingly random.

And you don't really pick your gang. If there's a particular gang you want to join, I would recommend trying to play on their associated map as much as possible.

Also, you can quit gangs and join other gangs, just in case you didn't know.

I did this and still not got invite to another gang
