    Crash at splash screen.

So I've had the game just over 12 hours now and not even managed to get to a start menu. It gets to the point where all the logos are shown i.E. Havok etc and then as that screen fades it crashes. I've done many, many things. Reinstalled, allowed through firewall, made sure to delete ALL steam files based on GCI and reinstalled, installed all redis items inc. DirectX, Games for Windows Live and the .net items and yet still the same crashes persist. I've tried reboots, different downloads of the update able items even reinstalled steam and reinstalled the game and yet still no game-play for me. Currently waiting to hear back from steam for a refund but if there are any last minute things I should try please, let me know. Thanks.

Which version of windows are you on? There should be a crash log of some type available in the event viewer that can help you pinpoint what is causing the crash.

This keeps happening to me. I sign in to Windows Live, and then while the office Batman is shooting around in the corner, I get an error and get kicked out.

Are ALL of your drivers updated? Is your UAC(User Account Control) enabled or disabled? Did you try turning off your anti virus? Did you install the lastest windows updates?

All drivers and windows up to date. Anti-virus is down. UAC is enabled but I don't understand why the UAC will make a different.

For the sake of testing I disabled UAC and that made zero difference.
