FOUND A FIX for low FPS on PC!

I also posted on the official GCI website. Seems to have solved the problem for most people.

If you have an ATI graphics card, it seems that a hotfix may be needed.
If you have a dual core processor, it may contribute tot he bottlenecking.
Patch should be iminent, but do these 3 steps.

1- Go into your steamapps>common>Gotham city imposters>autoexec>

Change "DisableMaterialsFromFile" "1" to "DisableMaterialsFromFile" "0" (works for most people).. THEN:

2- Create a desktop shortcut for impostors.exe and run it from there or just run it from your steam FOLDER.

3- Then:

1- Launch Gotham City Impostors
2- Return to Windows and open the "Task Manager"
3- Find the "Engine.exe*32 and impostors.exe
4- Right click on it "Set Priority" [High]
5- "Set Affinity" check every box available.

I also only got a 3FPS increase by doing this. It's as if the game doesn't even try and use my GPU at all. I have a GPU monitor gadget that shows that it is only using like 2% at max.

I am getting a consistent 10 - 16 fps. It is unplayable at this point

i have terrible problems with FPS, this game completly ignore GPU unit (or unmeasurable usage) and its just using integrated graphic card (laptop). anyone else with similar problem? Unplayable at low... games like BF3 runing at high except this one...

This works great. I was having really low fps (on low) but after changing this around I'm running at 60-70 fps on high.

Here is another potential fix that I know has worked for some people, jumping from 20 to 60 fps:

1- Launch Gotham City Impostors

Hey folks!

This is an awesome thread! Thanks for putting all this info together. I'm going to look into these as much as I can, and attempt to gather information in a way that will benefit us all. But, if anyone here can confirm that these fixes work for them, and tell me a bit more about the problems they're having (if, for example, they have SpeedFan running and call tell that it's a bottleneck with their CPU, their GPU is overheating, perhaps their RAM isn't being fully utilized, etc.) then I'd be eternally grateful.
