Okay love the game but I was wondering if a Mr.Freeze team would be possible?

That isn't going to happen. It would be a nice idea, but sadly, no. This game is based on comics, and in those comics, no where else do they mention other gangs.

meh forget those 2 what I'd like to see is a riddler team with a base green costume color.. that would be cool.. could give them some random question mark decals too

Sorry. I don't actually mean shut up, or to attack you personally. I mean I'm SO sick of that nonsensical argument.

If you want to say you think it ruins the purity of the Bats vs Jokers dynamic, fine. If you want to say it messes with friend vs foe identification, sure. I disagree both times, but at least it's a valid argument.

1) The game is NOT based on a particular set of comics. After the game was announced, they created a comic storyline to VERY LOOSELY tie into it. What gangs appeared in the comics were solely because that's what was going to be in the game.
2) There's plenty in the game that's NOT in the comics, and almost certainly plenty in the comics that's NOT in the game. It's like if somebody said "Hey, do you think after dying, you should come back to life? Cause it kind of sucks that once you die you're out of the game." "Sorry, this game is based on the comics, and in those comics, the gang members don't come back to life after being killed." Or, "You know what would be a cool weapon for the game? A freeze ray!" "Cool idea, but this game is based on comics, and in those comics, nobody had a freeze ray as a weapon, so it's not going to happen."

Can we please retire the "in the comics it's just Bats vs Jokers so it won't happen" argument?

I've seen this asked to the devs in multiple interviews. I believe Bats and Jokerz were chosen because they have very distinguishable costumes that are easy to differentiate. Being able to tell a team-mate apart from an enemy quickly is important, especially in a fast paced FPS game.

Personally I'd love to see a Riddler faction, hopefully the game is a big success and we get some of the great community ideas implemented in future DLC/Sequels.

ye with Bats having a blue tone, jokers as purples and riddlers as green it would be alright.. would be really unique gameplay to have a threeway map battle instead of the regular 2

Telling friends from foes is important in a game, but I don't know about other people, I often tell it from the presence/absence of a green name label before I'm close enough to see their colors. (Of course, I'm also invisible a lot, so colors aren't a help there). And it's not like friendly fire is a problem, I always go with the policy of "If it's moving, and I don't see the green label indicating they're on my team, shoot it."



Personally, I think the game would be better served via cool. I don't need whole teams of imposters, but I think you should be able to buy/unlock through feats costumes based on other hero/villains, for added customization. If it makes you a teeny bit less recognizable, then that's just justification for it costing a lot more or requiring a greater feat to unlock. But I'd much rather have a game where you could see the occasional Riddler or Robin running around, rather than the visual mundanity of just clowns and Bats.

Again, I personally don't think it should be whole factions, but rather just individual costumes for each side (because otherwise you'd have to first define lots of different costume options for each side, but also the 'bad' sides would outnumber the good ones), but I'd be okay with either.

Interesting idea.. Would be cool having some Bats, nightwings & robins VS Jokers, riddlers & penguins.. With some huntresses & catwomen VS harleyquins & Ivys thrown into the mix

Yeah i what your saying but i mean freeze hates everyone im just saying that they could make a DLC or a sequal to this game in the future with freeze and or peguin factions. Think about it guys with fish bowls on their head covered in light blue running around with make shift freeze rays and throwable icicle's. The possibility's are endless with winter style maps its awesome but i guess i can just dream about it.
