Cool Batman Arkam City: The Joker

Hello, I'm thinking of being the Joker for Halloween(Yes I know Halloween's passed or is a long way, thanks for stating the obvious.) I just want to ask if anybody, anyone can tell me what materials I need like special make up, black mascara, gloves, green hairspray and most important;y where I can get a suit like the Joker in Arkham asylum & city... & at a reasonable price so if anybody is willing to suggest or help me out that be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

P.s. Here's a link to see pictures of the Joker if you don't know what he looks like in the videogames.

Sure, you can go and get all sorts of nice make-up, but I always find the cheap grease make-up to do the best, especially for around the eyes. Most Halloween make-up kits come with those black crayon-type things but they never go on very thick. The grease make-up goes on thick and easy. The only down side is that it never seems to dry so you might end up with some white make-up rubbing off on the collar of your shirt.

For the green hair, you can't go wrong with the cheap green hair spray. The only problem with that is that it hardens the hell out of your hair. If you want something a bit looser or more flowing, you might have to use a "semi-permanent" dye that you can probably pick up at Hot Topic.

Now, the outfit is going to be the tricky part. I doubt you will be able to find it for very cheap and most definitely won't be able to pick it up all together. You'll have to buy the purple, pin-striped suit separate from everything else. The shirt would probably be easiest to just buy an orange button-up dress shirt and sew an extra row of buttons on the front for the look. Finding a green tie shouldn't be too hard to find.

You're making a smart move by starting to get it all together this early. It'll take some time and don't be shy to experiment with the make-up before hand. Get it on good.

PS. Here's a suit. Like I said, this will be the most expensive part. Just check thrift shops often for a cheaper solution. You just have to be more flexible if you go that way.

    I was Two-Face in these.

Two cheap suits from a secondhand store, burn victim makeup kit, and a sewing machine.
I've done Alfred with my cane, fedora and my tux from when I was best man at a wedding.
It never gets used except at weddings, heh.
We've had Joker and Batman and Robin and of course all the villains in the pics I just linked.
I've done Lobo a few times too.
Suits are always cheap from second hand stores, and these days the second hand stores have better quality suits, cleaner, sturdier, than the expensive shops.
Of course, you have a better chance of getting a good Joker suit at a secon hand anyway, especially if you go for the bright purple and a ruffle shirt!
    Good times.
As for makeup, go for theatre white face, and then the rest can be covered in girls' makeup.
The quality is better than cheap costume ****, and designed to withstand weather and sweat, and is easier on sensitive skin, and, usually cheaper, unless you are going for some overpriced designer brand.
For hair, go for the punky gels, not the coloured hairspray.
That hairspray stuff is ****, and the gel washes out easily, and is much easier to shape and manage on the move.
Any magic/joke/novelty store will sell a squirting flower lapel and a joy-buzzer, just not Joker deadly.
Since you are thinking Joker, you do not have to worry about latex and spirit gum, which I've had to deal with too many times...
For face wash, Noxema works best, wash twice with it, once hot, once cold, then if you've missed any, good old soap will be enough.
    Did I miss anything?
It's an easy and fairly inexpensive costume, and you can look great!

    Halloween is a while away.
However, I think that the Joker is really overdone.
I would be .. like, Bane.
    Bane is different.

    Bane.
