    Deep Freezer Tips

Hello Impostors. Tiny Tim here with some tips for the Deep Freezer. This is a weapon that is not used a lot, either because it is hard to use or it is because it's unlike any other weapon. Don't worry, though! I'll have you shouting corny Mr. Freeze puns before you can say " Batman and Robin sucks!"
    1. The deep freezer is the only weapon that cannot kill people directly. Instead, you can shoot them with it until they reach 2 points of health. At this state they freeze where they are and are open to attack. This is why the deep freezer is such an amazing weapon. Once you freeze them, anything will kill them! Conch Shell, Boomerang, Boarding Party, even Bear Traps! But that is not the COOLEST part (sorry). Once they are frozen, if somebody else shatters them, you get the kill. For example, if I freeze them, but my friend shoot him, I get the kill. This is why the weapon is so great!
    2. Just like the Bear Stalker, you can charge up the blast. The longer you charge, the more damage it does.
    3. Similar to penetrating ammo, the Deep Freezer ignores body armor, so it is useful on those overpowered mighties with body armor!
    4. This weapon could also be classified as a sniper, because it is extremely accurate and has a very good range.
Now, if you want to use the Deep Freezer well, charge it up as much as possible. You can 100 damage with one shot! Remeber to finish them off when frozen, because just like with boomerangs, the frozen player can get unfrozen quicker. Basically, use the Deep Freezer to help you get kills with things like the Boarding Party and Conch Shells. Well, those are my tips, what are yours. If you want to know tips on anything from maps to support items, just ask!

    Re: Deep Freezer Tips

Good tips so far for people new to this "cool" weapon (yeah going for the Arnie Mr Freeze style stuff here)

The Deep Freezer is a surprisingly good pressure and support weapon. When with team mates these high damage shots and splash damage can be frustrating for the enemy team to worry about your team aswell as the potential to be frozen. Because of the splash damage potential you are best to try and use something like Inflatable Insoles to not only hit the opponent but get an extra hit to deal double damage from hitting the ground around them. Jetpack is okay for this too but not as practicle since you're more of a predictable target to hit.

Burlies and Toughs are your best choice since they have a decent mix of health and mobility to handle this weapon and it's really down to personal preference. If you're not using the deep freezer to get certain weapons feats in particular then pack a fast firing close range secondary should you run into trouble, Desperado and Kingmaker are good for this especially if you run out of ammo in the DF in a pinch. Based on the backup weapon you have should also depend on what support item to use, the impact grande is a useful little tool for finishing off frozen opponents or for aid at mid/close range using your secondary, for longer range or just to help finish opponents off shurikens are your best bet for their fast striking attack and auto lock on making them a quicker way to kill opponents at long range than trying to pull out your secondary.

    Hope this is useful ^^

The DF works well with the Kingmaker but it you can get direct hit freezes use the grapple gun because you can fire your grapple without re-aiming and get the kill

Insoles. Case closed. Best gadget to use with the DF, once u get the jumping and aiming part down. I'd go with a backup gun youre familiar and decent with, just in case youre not doing well with the DF as your primary weapon. Use any fun fact 1 of your preference but, go with kinda bulletproof for fun fact 2. It will help. Support item is totally up to u but, id go with something to finish off a frozen enemy (conch, boomerang, shuriken, etc.) play with the DF for a while to really understand the majority of your freezes, if theyre typically close, mid-range, or long (this thing has range), and pick your finishing item based on that. Use a burly body since he doesnt get weighed down from the weapon itself, nor does he have issues switching to and from it, and u could take more hits (youll need it). Anyway, hope this helps.

I'd recommend using fleet footed when using the insoles. Gives you a little bit extra when jumping about like a crazy cat trying to freeze people. Up close there's no need to aim down site, just hip fire. Always try and get height advantage to take gain the most out of the splash damage. For a mod I would recommend using the body odor sniffer. Extra mags can be good if your trying to get use to the gun as it gives you extra shots before having to reload. Just beware of the very long reload time. So if you need to reload, switch to your secondary gun instead, before retreating to a safer area to reload the DF.

I'm using the Nimble with NSB and flanking/ambushing with the Deep Freezer. Works great, especially for those damn knife shatter kills
