honestly, jackhammer is much better for close-med range, but it must have the reflex sight for improved accuracy. Its mag is just so huge and headshots do over 100 dmg. If you have the motion sensor you can also be ready for a headshot when that enemy is about to round the corner and die before they know what hit them. But dawn patrol is more accurate for longer ranges and has faster reload speed. Jackhammer also=nooby cheap overpowered weapon.

Depends, im good with both. Jackhammer weighs you down & has more recoil than a Dawn Patrol. Dawn Patrol & the Gatekeeper are the most balanced guns in the game.

I like the jackhammer but it seems to have hit detection problems sometimes like the huntsman. The dawn patrol is my choice for the best all around weapon! Wish it had a 30 round clip like an assault rifle should.

I never have hit detection issues, so I never seem to understand these claims. You gotta remember the Jack-Hammer has a lot of rumble and unless your close to mid-range emphasis on the close, then your gonna miss shots.

I agree....it was my first gun to be mastered and it seemed so beastly because I am a close range player

Adrian, go with whatever is more fun for you. You paid for the game and should enjoy anyway you see fit. I would probably go DP, just because it's more accurate at range.
