Back in the day, I'm pretty sure I can say that since it was 1997, Armored Core released for the PSX. I bought it, I played it, and I got hooked on the series.

The plot revolved around mercenary mech pilots named "ravens."

There was a secret that if you got too far into debt, you repayed the debt by being experimented on. Your name is wiped and replaced by "Rebel" and then a series of numbers.

So I became a Rebel, and I was a Raven. :P

Gh0stbusttyler: It's a song title from a band I like, and I needed a username for something years ago, so I just picked it and replaced the last word with my name. It's been my username on everything on any profile since then (minus the 0 replacing the o) .
