Oh, and thanks for the link. Hadn't noticed that edit otherwise. But yeah, I remember the complaints. People figured that the "winners" were all part of the same clique and that that somehow meant that they were horrible people who didn't deserve to win. Me, I was happy with the result. I think I voted for all of the winners, and I didn't even know that more than one person could get it so I was really happy when all of the people who I thought deserved it actually ended up getting it.

Oh, and don't think that I hate you guys, either. Quite the contrary, actually, and that's why I want you all to come back out of your hole!

It just sucks to me to see you guys putting the forums down when you could be out helping us make them awesome again.

I've always felt like VII gave people delusions of grandeur. Most people don't understand what it really is and they think they are more powerful than they actually are.

lol I agree 100%. Just because someone is a VII it doesn't give them special privileges and the right to patrol the forums to enforce rules. It's great that the forum has the VII and it should be an honor when someone is chosen but I sometimes think that some people let it go to their head but you know what...it's just a title and nothing more.

Rudiger yr post is perfect and i agree with it completely.

Sure. Theres a lot of funny almost not safe for youngins yolks In gci, and although they cuss once or twice in intro its bleeped, its not necessary to do so in every chance you get. Perhaps civil posts are needed more, before going out and making false accusations.

And of course theyve gotten worse.(@ OP/in general)
back then there was no "10charslol", no replying with simply a picture or "i agree!", "+ rep lulz if i could give u more i would", and so on. Posts contained good stuff. Replies on why they thought they agreed, and so on. No needing to point out that theyre post padding, because convos were gr9 and there was no need to pad. Everyone had fun talking to everyone, without being spammy.
Not to mention users actually getting mad at someone and then "hating them"(&taking things personal) and saying endless backhanded insults, which, i saw a good amount of new vii's doing. Even if theyve stopped doing it altogether, they still support their friends in such cases, which still doesnt help at all. And if they havent stopped, well theyre just being jerks elsewhere (in game, chats amongst friends,..).. and then players notice and come here to see those same jerks be vii. Which, again, doesnt help.

Finally a voice of common sense in the din of absurdity. Well said Siren and I couldn't agree with you more. I don't have a problem with occasional cursing here or there but sometimes it get's to be a little to much and it can be offensive at times. Really, why use excessive profanity, it's unnecessary.

Good idea and it shouldn't be a self-appointed mod. It should be someone who would be impartial and fair.

yeah i agree VII is just a title and anybody that would let it go to their head obviously isn't getting out much but i have to say that i haven't seen any of them act all high and mighty Olessius, Siren, Impostah, batboy to name a few all are cool and i never see them act as if their privileged in fact it's the exact opposite they all seem pretty humble.

Question is loaded, but I'd like to see some users singled out, otherwise this is just a bunch of vague anger that can just be misdirected and used by the first person to post and claim allegiance with the righteous side.

But Anap, I'm not actually doing anything different from what I was doing before. I'm doing it at a larger scale, sure, but that's not because of my VII title; it's because the forums are that bad right now.

And about the profanity, well... **** you, Anap.

Nah, just kidding! And I see your point, though I don't agree with it. For me, profanity isn't a very bad thing and it's not a good reason to judge someone. Bad behaviour, however, most certainly IS. But profanity does not equal bad behaviour. It's just a way of talking. I've used "excessive profanity" ("excessive" by my ken, anyway) due to anger only like once this month, and that was because I thought the displeasure I felt at this person's behaviour needed to be shown publically to let others where I stood in a conflict that, at that point, had engulfed that entire thread. I then took the actual conversation to private messages where we had a nice, extremely vulgar chat and then made up.

So yeah, profanity won't annoy me, but acting like an ******* most definitely will.
