And now, a moment of appreciation, for the Hatchet

To those who wield it, it is the prize of the armoury. From 2 feet, to 200 feet, it knows no boundaries. Of all the ways of killing someone in GCI, none are more satisfying than flinging a hatchet into an oncoming foe (or even an unsuspecting one)

Once you become a student of the axe, you never stop learning. In the early days you get the odd shot that brings a smile to your face, and convinces you that this is the support item for you. That feeling cannot be matched elsewhere.

Once you have been using this glorious axe for a short while, you start to become adventurous, you will attempt things that you would not have considered when you began. All of a sudden, That guy camping on the pipes in ace chemical could be a worthy opportunity for your axe, and when you hit him? Even if you're the only one who saw it, you know you did good.

For me, the Hatchet is essential. My speedy skater could not do without it nowadays, which is a mixed blessing, but as every hatchet brother knows, it's worth it

So how about we give it up for the Hatchet? The real star of the GCI arsenal. And if you are my hatchet brother, then I salute you may your Axe always meet the faces of your foes.

I am fairly new to the hatchet and loving it! I unlocked it before my promotion but did not give it a far try. This time around it might replace my trust pipe bomb.

Yes, indeed it is wonderful, but the feelings you describe, are The ones I have for my sweet boomerang.

Haven't used the hatchet much but it definitely frustrates me when a good player is using it.
