You'd have to be pretty damn close and have practically no lag or hit detection issues if you are able to one shot a health stacked hard target Mighty Divebomber while he's diving at you and the Hatchet will only save you from one divebomber not a fleet of them diving at you at once.
Thick headed reduces divebomb damage by a half so a Mighty divebomb on someone with Thick headed will only do 70 instead of 140 but that's still a ridiculous a mount of damage if you're a speedy or nimble.
The Falcon Blade blocking it reduces it by 80% so it will only do 28 damage when blocked.
Considering this is a Falcon Blade thread for Falcon Blade advice the grapple gun is generally useless when the skates or nsb are a better choice especially with Energy Drink combined with blocking to make you a walking tank. I've personally found this setup to be rather good for dealing with Motivating camper teams if not enough of my team is using the witch Doctor or throwing hatchets.
If you're a tough you'll kill anything in two slashes and can block panic melee attacks ontop of being healed from damage pretty well from your energy drink and the carepackages lying on the ground, it's always amusing blocking within a motivator's nest and watching them jumping in a panic when you can't die because their carepackages are keeping you alive as you block :L
True. I do not survive A fleet of Mighties.... Though I never expect more than one or two.
Good knowledge to know that the FB can do more than just swing at people though.![]()
Ya know somethin? I'd like to know that too. I've had more trouble after mastering the damn thing then when I was ... well mastering it.
I use a burly for the extra power but I seem to glitch on top of people more with my skates too. I don't stomp them either. I just glitch right on up there and have to magically hit someone below me. Also, and this might just be the bodytype, but when I swing at someone I'm close to they can back away and still be faster. Like a mighty backed away from me. Never happened before my fat **** of a burly. Ah well.
Ya know somethin? I'd like to know that too. I've mastered the damn thing and have more trouble now then starting out with it.
I use a burly on skates and every once in a while I glitch on top of people. No stomping occurs and I have to magically hit someone below me. This might be a lag thing but I've been inches away from people and haven't been able to hit them. You know something's wrong when you kill a guy behind the guy you're trying to hit and he still doesn't die... or get hit.

And trust me, you want Leathery. You DO NOT want Cutthroat. Cutthroat is absolutely WORTHLESS.
Could you explain how Leathery works better than Cutthroat when using the Falcon Blade?
