    2. He could have strategically placed himself in spots where the enemy team would be going to try to kill the booster. It woulda been like shooting fish in a barrel, to some extent.
Also, I don't see people running in circle motivating themselves too often. Most of the boosting I see is for reasons other than the motivator. I'm sure there was a spike in motivator boosting because of the snowflakes as well, now that the snowflake is done, that should slow down a bit.
Either way, there's always going to be people doing something you don't like in almost every game. If it's not boosting, it's a cheap loadout. If it's not a cheap loadout, it's something else.
People do what they do, and that's never going to change whether we like it or not.
But my point is that his game was affected, which the pills would not have done. Therefore there is a difference.

I would guess that part of the reason the xp pills exist in the first place is to curb xp boosting in it's other forms.

An anonymous player messaged me telling me that he caught user "Crappppy" boosting in-game. He even took a picture (here it is in case you want proof http://imgur.com/H5cUf,x0Pcb,fWWYf,rPSoX# ). He told Crappppy that he had proof that he was a booster (the player also uses the forums and knows that Crappppy is somewhat famous here), and how did he respond? By threatening him. Crappppy told him that if he leaked the picture to the forums, he would "ban" him from the forums. As we all know, Crappppy does not have the power to ban people. This is very inappropriate behavior, and I'm really surprised that he would go as far as doing something like that just to keep his reputation on the forums. I am posting this on the player's behalf because the player doesn't understand how the forum powers work and he was afraid to lose his ability to post.

Please just remember that this is not flaming or anything, but Crappppy is a prominent player among us, and we need to stop this kind of behavior as it may give new players the impression that the community supports boosting.
Ok. Crapppy did not threaten anyone. even that picture of "proof" doesnt show anything. when taken out of context by a crappppy camera, i'm sure it might look that way. but the reality is this, that guy sends a message sayin, oh look what i got on camera! i'm telling! nanner nanners! wah wah wah! :'(. Crapppy basically just informed him that "drawing unwanted attention" to another player is against forum guidelines and that by doing so he ran the risk of opening himself up to punishment.

And BTW, I WAS BOOSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! for my snowflakes. don't like it? fine don't play with me. i started this thread before you or that guy did this because we saw it coming. this thread was made just so you and McSoap (not drawing attention, just crediting originator of photos) wouldn't have a solid platform to whine from.

Crapppy repeatedly told us to not include him in what we were doing because he didnt need some whiney little punk calling him out for something he didn't do. well crapppy little buddy, i'm sorry that this happened. but bottom line? CRAPPPPY didn't boost and you need to just find something else to do instead of attempting this shame game.

You do realize that it's pretty much pointless to boost if you're level 1000, don't you?

An anonymous player? really? they just go around under cover of darkness randomly selecting xbl users to provide these little PSA's? Bogus! #shenanigans! there is no truth in that statement at all.

Crapppy did not even come close to suggesting that he could or would ban anyone. so that's bogus. you even show the actual message which shall be known as "exhibit" 4.

None of this is true. but it is worth a good laugh.

    so thanks little buddy!

You are correct in the fact that Crappppy can't "ban" anyone, only the admins can "ban" someone. From that image though you can't really prove if a person was boosting or not since you can get your points up like that with the motivator, even with a low kill/assist count. I'm not saying that he did or didn't but just that it doesn't prove much. Also looking threw these threads, this forum doesn't support boosting at all, people have been called out and video's have been posted.

The biggest problem though is people's definition of boosting, take for example the fact I'm using the witch doctor and I still need about 200,000 damage to master the weapon. Is it considered boosting that I'm trying to work on a weapon to master that people are annoyed with? Will I be considered a booster when I try to gold the Motivator?
    Here is your first subject...................Go
