Is it unsporting to win now? Are people not allowed to use an effective loadout that they may have used for 1000 levels and got comfortable with?

Sorry, I must've of missed the memo.

And surely, if the burly shotty loadout is so cheap and easy to use then why are these people try hards? Surely they're trying very little and relaxing. Perhaps using the controller one handed while they drink a cool, refreshing beer. 'Cause these loadouts require no skill, right? Everyone you see with this loadout is a god yes? I havn't seen loads of people use this set up and get their **** kicked, no?

Seriously guys, chill the frell out. You're claiming people are complete tools while being complete tools yourselves.

Yeah last night I played with a team of only burlies, and I think for the most part that is just the set up they use to get some kills, but Persuader is a good weapon that even the best players use. The thing that I just tell myself is, that it doesn't matter what anyone uses to me, as long as people are still playing.

Does it really matter what they are when you spam a witch doctor coupled with a modded huntsman?

I play games because they're fun. Builds like that, overly agressive "cheap tactics" like that make the game less fun. I'd prefer not to play with someone using that kind of tactic. I'm not saying it isn't valid, I am, however, saying it's no fun for anyone else in the game.

Yeah I think it is unfair.

I've stopped using the Persuader in all because when I first started using it it wasn't very popular and not OP in my opinion. I got gold but started seeing more people use it. I stopped and now it's just overused, and over powered as there's people running around everywhere with it killing people from any range when I don't think they should. You have to try to NOT get a good score with it. So I've stopped using it because it's not fair in my opinion, but they bought the game so I guess they get to play it however they see fit nothing we can do about that.

I like to have fun too, But I don't like being called bad. Or even being trash talked by some high level using Easy Mode loadouts.

It's not some secret, that Burly/Persauder with Burly and Body armor is Tryhard loadout 101. If you're high level and using it, it's not because it's "fun".

Hell, There was the one level 1000 talking trash to everyone just yesterday while they MAIN this loadout. That's example enough for how most players are. Since we're at the point where the meta game is solid with most weapons and such added up in tiers. It's not exactly rocket tech to know what is obviously too power/in need of rebalance.

While I only think the Shotty is slightly too far powerful with range, It's hardly overpowered. And this post doesn't exactly make sense.

Just because many players start using it, Doesn't make it overpowered. just overused, You can't go to OP from Overused.

If they just tweaked the range and had the pellets increase in spread, it'd be balanced. It just needs the twotweaks

Personally, I get the most enjoyment out of a game when there's variety. I don't use the same loadout for two games in a row and always like to mix up the weapons and items I use. Who cares if I'm not particularly good with them or I go negative for one game in ten. At least I'm enjoying myself.

You and I finally agree on something LOL have to add the jackhammer into the mix and you got yourself one cheap loadout (that a majority of the players use) against low level noobs.

I love the Persuader. I Love the Burly. I like to try hard. I like winning. I love getting kills. Tough as Nails is my lover. Guess that makes me the villain. <3

I still personally don't see the problem with the persuader, for me the chaperone beats the Persuader within it's own effective range and the best way to deal with the persuader is stay out of close range or jump right into your opponents face when they are trying to use it. A lot of players turn around slowly so if you use unsoles and jump over their head they will lose sight of you and have to turn just to get a shot while also giving you a chance for some stomp damage/kill.

Burlies are rather slow so I don't see how one with a persuader could get close to a player anyway, if the guy was using a glider all they had to do was drop some asd's and laugh as they shoot him outside the persuaders effective range.
