Hatchet Tips?

Im Planning on mastering the hatchet but i dont even know how to use it properly i want to put it on one of my loadouts too but it wont really make my loadout any good without me knowing how to use it...
so could any experienced hatchet users give me some advice (Preferably Xbox 360 Users).

my hatchet class is my only "fun" class, meaning its the only class i really enjoy using, and that i didnt create simply for the purpose of mastering whatever gun im mastering.

speedy
glider
peruader/penetrator ammo
hatchet

best map for use: east end

glide around hit them for 50 damage with the glide bomb (both to get proximity and to let them know youre there for a fairer fire fight)
PSYCH! hatchet them in the face as they turn around

loads of fun. still need 3 more post mortem kills to master, but i got all 100 kills and retrievals in an afternoon

be careful of defense rampages/prizes. only does 120 damage instead of an instikill.

Anyhoo, i cant add anything to th eexcellent advice give, i tend to play very aggressively with the hatchet, in this game igot 13 (cheap OHKs) with it, maybe there's some useful what to do and certainly some useful 'dont copy my mistakes' lol

I just found this out: You can get the throw and pick up challenge by just throwing it at the wall and picking it back up. It's kind of a cheat/exploit but makes completing the challenge a cinch

One tip, don't try and waste them of nimbles or speedies (mainly speedies) because I find it better to save them for the body types that have more health, (especially mighties because of how easy it is to hit them) So you don't wanna waste your hatchet and miss a speedy and then find a mighty to find your hatchet hasn't recharged.

I have been using the hatchet for about a day now (I had a series of three kills where I was able to throw it and pick it up just in time to throw it again :-D) But I had a question:

When the hatchet bounces off of a player you just killed, is it possible for it to bounce into AND kill another?

I've got a tip for the hatchet. Don't use the damn thing. One hit kills are ****ing cheap.

I actually prefer hatchet for body types such as speedy or nimble, when I run into the big builds I actually stand a chance if they stand in front of me. Playing against a team that are partied up using jet packs and witch doctor etc is cheap by opinion, hatchet takes some actual practice, which makes it fun.

i mainly use it when i turn corners for a quick instint kill depending on the build...sometimes i miss speedys lhaha. its great for groups of enemys when using nimble or speedy classes though
