skating burly with jackhammer

how is it that this class set up will destroy my entire team, but when i use it i cant hardly get a single kill. what am i doing wrong? i wish to grape others in the way that i have been graped. skating burly usually with the energy drink or body armor just tearing my team a new ****. are you just hip-firing!?, how can you get the draw on me so quickly when it takes me a like a whole second to raise the hammer on you.

!!! was you just on a team that got beat by a burly with a jackhammer and shredder skateing it was at 25th floor if so did you see a Wolf_dude555 on your team??? if so then i was on your team that time

I made my jackhammer gold with a skating burly. It was by far my favorite way to use the Jackhammer as you are mobile and you can utterly destroy slow moving targets. At the time I was mastering it, it was classy to use mighties on PC, so it was an ideal counter.

When using it, you might want to consider the Muzzle Break or the Penetrator Ammo. These will increase your output, even in quick engagements. I used the Vigor Chug or Motion Sensor, the sensor is really useful for getting the hammer going by knowing exactly where the enemy is, the chug for when an ally is tagging or sensoring.

You can easily counter this though, the Burly with a Jackhammer is not the fastest class and vulnerable to faster classes who can dodge salvo's. The hammer runs out of juice quickly and takes a while to reload, so in a quick battle, they will run out quickly as stopping with shooting and restarting takes ages. Sniping works well as when they aim, they are nearly stationary.

Over all im just sick and damn death of the f'n jackhammer every damn player seems to be useing it and the majority of people who use it use it with mighty or burly and the damn glider rig

Well, on PC, I generally see a commonly used weapon or loadout. At the time of golding my jackhammer, it was all mighty glider rocket spam. It was a great counter. Now it's all shotgun. Nearly everyone with a shotgun, so I use a quicker weapon or a higher range weapon. It's all in the counter play.

That said, I am not touching the jackhammer again unless the mighty/glider spam returns. Thank god I have it gold now.

Im on ps3 all i ever see is mightys spamming with there gliders or they constantly shoot with there jackhammers -,- i dont really see rocket spammers as much i do just not as much the most annoying of that kind is a inflatable insoles rocket spammer i cant wait for the damn witch doctor so i can make them say hello to the gnome effect for it knocking them clear out of the sky

when i finish body dismorphic im gonna fiddle around and see which suits me best. gonna try one class with the chug and another with armor and ALL OF THEM with penetrator. is that how they get the draw on me round the corner? tagger and motion sensors!? tricky buggers!

Some loadouts simply don't mesh with people. That would never work for me, as I have always hated using the jackhammer after I golded it.


The times I DO die from a skating burly with jackhammer though, its because they had the jump on me and never stood still. I would suggest using the mobility to your advantage.



BTW, I'm not sure where you guys are playing your matches on PS3 but the only consistent loadout I see is the overrated mighty glider rig combo. Never have run into burly skate jackhammers much. The skating burlies I DO run into though are the good ones that rock huntsman/partistan and care package at range.

its the go to standard for those in bounty hunter who want/get a redonk high kdr. i ithink im one of very few in the top 25 who once i master a gun a i move on to a new one im less amazing with. (or very sucky) but those players almost always go around 20+ and 5
