    Seriously, the grapple hook is the best gagdet for a sniper in my eyes.
    Besides that, I have to agree. TD is a bad choice for a sniper. Marksman is okay, but you should give hard target, kinda bulletproof a try too. Maybe it suits you better, maybe not.

    A shotgun or a smg is a better choice as a secondary. If you insist on your thunderdragon, give mad bomber a try and you should use the hatchet if somebody comes too close.
    Other nice support items are shurikens, too finish people who survived your first shot and are to close for another shot or the energy drink to stay longer on your sniper spot.
    If you try a to move across the map a lot, the buccaneer won't be your sniper weapon of choice, try the bearstalker instead, although it has been nerfed quite hard.

    No you don't, I'm guessing.
    I could put a muzzle breaker on a Buccaneer with Marksman and STILL get 183 damage on body shots with no body armor.

    Grapple Hook is actually the best gadget a sniper can get, since you can get in places where it would otherwise be unreachable.
    In fact, the Grapple hook is one of the best mobility gadget PERIOD.

    But I do agree he should take out the TD with a different weapon. Maybe the Persuader for those who got too close or the gatekeeper for mid-ranged combat, or the Hunstman to pick off the ones that survived the Buccaneer shot.
    And maybe replace the motion detector with something else, as it would be useless for actually sniping as the targets are usually out of range anyway.

    my main loadout is speedy with a bucc and a persuader. i do body odor on the bucc and penetrator on the shotty. grapplings great but i stick to ninja smoke bomb. i enjoy popping in and out of stealth and then 1shotting and zipping away.

    Actually TD on a sniper is good for creating space, and doing extra dmg with the Buccaneer

    I tried to make a fun sniper class and you should try it if its bad, my opinion may be different on this loadout but who cares

    My loadout, I use Rang for if anyone decides to close in on me. Impare them for a couple of secs and kill them with either Bucc or DP. Rang is good for escaping too and getting kills off of other campers.

    I like this loadout because the Rang can not be traced and is hard to find who threw so they wouldn't know what hit them but I'm sticking to my loadout
