Boarding party tips ?

This has to be the mos god awful gun in this game. I've wanted the Calling Card for it ever since I've seen it so I'm determined to master it. My average game seems to be 2 or 3 kills and over 11 deaths. With a normal load oat I can pull off top 3 every game. This is by far the worst challenge I have ever decided to go for. All help an loadouts are appreciated.

I've been having the same experience so far. The feat I find most frustrating is the one where you have to get so many kills with this thing. There must be a strategy to this but I can't figure an effective one out. I figure you have to wear the enemy down a bit first and then get him with the parrot but there's never enough time to switch weapons and if you don't have this thing loaded and ready to go, you can forget it. Of course, I could always just randomly shoot this thing at people and hope it hits someone when their health is low and I can watch my already meager KDR plummet further down the toilet lol

If you want to get kills with it then I would recommend using the Deep Freezer as your ready weapon and finishing them off with the parrot. Even if they unfreeze, their HP will be low enough to kill with the parrot.

Of course, the probelm with this tactic is that teamates may "steal" your Parrot kills...

I just bought the pack yesterday and desided to test out the new items. The Conch I can't seem to get the timing right for using it but I learned quickly I am INSANE with the Boarding Party. As noted by someone sometimes my timing using it kills someone with low HP, but I tried many different things with I found, Bear Trapping then Parrot to the face is pretty fun or the Boomerang into the Boarding Party is pretty fun too you have to adjust what you use to the types you run into , since trying that on a Mighty unless they are really hurting won't be enough and they won't be too happy to see you after you tried to parrot them in the face. My advice is just try different combos of different weapons and see what works and what doesn't. I all ready have one of the calling cards and messages for the Boarding Party. If anyone could give me some tips on using the Conch That would be very helpful.

I already have the calling card I'm assuming you're trying to use it as a primary? If you are, don't lol. Use it long-range against the enemy (better used when flanking, imo) and run in with your primary.

I love the boarding party I'm good with it you just need to learn the weapon and the kills are tricky I have 33 kills by far with it and think I only need 4 more kill feats to complete I have to complete the 50 kills one now with the weapon and almost done with it damage feats I recommend just damaging your opponents then use the boarding party to finish him off. the best method to kill many people with it is using the deep freezer and then use it is the best way even though I'm not using the deep freezer thats why I have only 33 kills because trying to complete the desparado feats I really recommend deep freezer to do this also it can help get conch shell kills too even though I'm not using the conch shells. Also becareful of others taking your boarding party kills away it can happen a lot.
