    Bear Trap Escapes

Is there a certain/best method for escaping from Bear Traps (and boomerangs ect. for that matter)? Are you supposed to alternate left-right left-right, or just do either as quickly as possible or what?

my personal opinion is that it works faster if you keep the analogs in contact with the edges of each stick respectively and rotate fully instead of going left to right .

Why i think this is better is because the ps3 can register the movement more ...

I'm pretty sure its left-right-left-right-left-right. You can visibly see the meter jump a chunk every time the stick hits the left and right side of its range.

First thing I would do is try and shoot the person who threw it down and then worry about getting free. It works the best for me!

Once caught in a Bear trap,I usually try to position myself around a corner (or any type of cover) while rocking the left thumbstick left to right. If I can't do any of that,I try to ready my weapon to kill the trapper who comes to investigate his trap then get loose.Boomerangs on the other hand,I simply run away from the opponent who primes it up to throw. It can follow you around corners but even if it does hit me,I'm out of harm's way.

double jump with II helps a lot in bear traps, people are like what is going on? aha gives me enough time to shake out. or if they're stupid, i try to kill them for daze of gloy feats(don't know if bear trap kills count) but I'm assuming they do.

Due to the most absolutely genius and ground-breaking decision the design team ever made, ONLY Boomerangs count toward Daze of Glory. I am incredibly glad for this decision, were it different, GCI would not be half the awesome it is today.
