Oh look! Another thread complaining about a weapon! Which one is it this time? Let's get rid of all of them and go hand to hand combat like Mortal Kombat! Yeah! lol

Tell me about it. I really like this game but it's such a CHALLENGE just to play it. I'm surprised I haven't given up on it, but am running out of HOPE fast that it will ever get better for me or anyone else having issues. That's why I kinda get sick of seeing so many people complain about this and that. I'm just happy I get to play when I can. I don't care who killed me with what, etc... but then I'm just a stoopid girl so what do I know. Right? lol
Have we played? I play a large variety of classes and I definitely know how to slay. I'm very experienced with shooters, but this is my first attempt at maining a medic class. Sorry if I made you mad or something.
I feel that players who can impose a strong movement defense and a strong aiming offense on their opponents are at an advantage over those who can't. 'Dodging bullets' in shooters trough strafing and evasive moment has always been important because not dieing is defense.
Staying alive, keeping my team alive, and maintaining strong teamwork is definitely a skillset. I can do it clearly better than many people, and many people can do it clearly better than me. There's a clear skill gap IMO. Skill gaps appear when all players are playing to win, not when all players are playing to do difficult moves.
The movement in this game is extremely responsive and quick, and it's important to incorporate it into your game. Yes, having an accurate shot can never hurt you, but the top players in any game tend to consistently have strong decision making skills while only having decent technical skill. I think this concept nicely applies to GCI, and good movement is part of the decision making equation.

I'm not complaining about being one shot killed or saying that it's OP. If you take the time to read the entire post and respond to it in the full context... you'll see that my issue is with people not even being close to aiming in my direction and still killing me. If you want to make an argument about how players move, they should at least move to face the direction they're shooting if they're gonna kill someone.

I think the best description I have heard of it is "A cheese stick in gun form".
Honestly, I would probably have less of an issue with it if its effective range was closer to the chaperone than the gatekeeper. But it's ability to front load so much damage and it's range combined makes it very hard to counter. I am not even going to get into what it does in BH, but I have started calling it the "R@pe Cannon" in that mode.
As it is now, I would say it is the undisputed king of close-quarter combat. I would really like to see it brought closer in line to the other two close-quarter weapons, the Falcon blade and Chaperone.
