It's kinda a generic loadout...nothing weird about it.

I use this but I use the kill crazy if I'm in a good streak, so that way I deal more damage

Its just the first time I've even considered putting heavy weapons on an insoles Nimble. Its not so much the weapons themselves that are strange, its more the body type and gadget choice. I've definitely not seen any Nimbles hopping around with Shredders.

im not surprised with thunderdragon and shredder, pretty easy weapons, try some bearstalker and partison or something plus a hatchet instead of traps. that might be something cool. just throwing out some other load out ideas

The idea I have with these weapons is Gas Blaster defense. The team normally has 2 GB's, so I can leave a Trap-in-the-box hidden at one of them (sometimes it defends the GB all by itself, sometimes it at least weakens the people trying to take it so I can mop up) while I watch the other one. The Shredder is accurate enough to take down targets at a decent range while they're capturing, but powerful enough to win up close fights, and the TD Rockets are great for firing at a GB if a whole crowd is trying to take it. That's the thought process there. Nimble lets me get around between GBs quickly to keep them defended.

I can see the oddness you're reffering to, even if it is used more than you've come across....

Personally I see smaller body types as excelling in movement during a gunfight, I wouldnt want to trade that by using a heavy weapon, but then again i'm always on skates not II, I guess it boils down to how effective you are leaping around and getting hits with the shredder, me personally, if I was leaping around I'd use a persuader when I land, leap and repeat, it seems like you'd have to get a lot of hits with the shredder to take down anything tough and above, and leaping would certainly take away the whole point of the shredders high ROF imo.

I'd also maybe suggest using a pipe bomb for support item, as the mad bomber would give that a bit of a boost, so throw pipe bomb first, then start getting rockets in while leaping, then switch to persuader as a finisher, although you'd obviously lose your silent defence at the other GB.

TBH the main reason its the Shredder is because I'm going for Shredder gold. Also, it lets me land kill shots from a pretty decent distance away, such as from a ledge above the GB. The Insoles are more for jumping around if I get into a CQB 1-on-1 encounter in between GBs, which I generally try to avoid, I don't actually jump too much while defending.
