Is the muzzle break just completely useless on some guns?

it really seems to do nothing but reduce the damage, I mean if it reduces the hipfire reticule on the buccaneer why would it not on these guns?

It doesn't seem to make the reticule smaller when slighty moving either as if you were aiming down sights.... is it an oversight? intentional? if so though, why? those guns would be no more dangerous than the partisan which is reduces the hipfire reticule... I don't understand.

That does indeed seem to be the case. Hopefully it is a bug they'll fix in the future.

The Huntsman has loads of hit detection problems no matter what you do, but the Muzzle Break improves hipfire accuracy and the spread while moving and firing. The same goes for the Marshall. The Muzzle Break is definitely significantly more effective on certain guns than it is on others.

its also awesome on the dawn patrol, and not to shabby on the partisan, if it didn't block half the iron sights, lol. on the shredder it gives you the smallest hipfire reticule in the game, and on the persuader it gives it nice range.

Dawn Patrol Muzzle Break is good times. Turns that thing into a laser gun.

how much can it really impove accuracy though if it doesn't effect the reticule at all? does it just hit towards the center more often?

Yea it reduces spread.
