Re: [FIX] Lag and Framerate issues. PC
Did all three.
It's not that there is horrible lag or the FPS go down to 10 or somthing, but considdering that my PC is able to run BF3 with constant 60+ FPS, while GCI constantly goes up and down between 45 and 70 FPS is disapointing and makes absolutely no sense to me.
Doing your 3 fixes helped a little bit (increased average FPS by like 5), but thats still way to little, considdering that GCIs graphics are really not that great.
But I guess we as players can't really do much to fix the problem.
The game simply is poorly scripted and ported from the consoles.
We'll just have to wait untill they come up with a patch.

Re: [FIX] Lag and Framerate issues. PC
Not really sure what is "CONFIRMED" in all that original post there, but there is an obvious lack of optimization. Granted, the game starts out at maximum settings in all categories. Problem is, even turning everything down to medium, no AA, no Vsync, and a lower resolution, the framerate is still worse than other, much better rendered games. I can run just about any other game at 60+fps at the current settings in this game without issue, so there is something inherently wrong.
Something tells me its to do with something like utilizing DX9, or something not quite working right with regard to draw distance. Although it seems to mostly drop horribly with other characters are in view, but no character in particular.

Re: [FIX] Lag and Framerate issues. PC
I am not a tech savvy dude by any means, but considering i can play modern warfare 3 and BF3 just fine (over 60 ish fps and on max settings) It boggles my mind that this game wont go past 10-15 fps making this game completely unplayable. Going to try the method 3 since that is the only one i have not tried (save 1 since my windows 7 is up to date) although i have to admit my hopes are not very high. It seems to me this has the potential to be very fun (especially since i'm a huge fan of the Batman franchise) if i could get playable fps. Sadly it's looking like you get what you pay for. Apparently that is a 15 dollar steaming pile of dog **** that devs couldn't take the friggin time to fix. This is a terrible way to start a new game and now i ( and many of my friends who bought the game and ARE running if not top of the line rigs at least decent enough to play the newest pc games ) wish we could have our money back EVEN if just to give it to a homeless dude to spend on MD 20/20 or Night Train. I feel this would have been a better investment and way more entertaining. Thanks for nothing WB.

Re: [FIX] Lag and Framerate issues. PC
One thing ive always wondered is that changing the graphic settings does not seem to affect my framerate that much, even if I drop my resolution my fps stays quite the same as on full resolution. Tested it: On 1920x1080 max settings, no AA I get 40-80 fps and on 1600x900 minimum but with shadows on I get 45-90. Thats hell of a difference right there.

Re: [FIX] Lag and Framerate issues. PC
I've had various problems with this game persisted and have been unable to play it because of this, first of the fov slider, which was a pain in the ***, but granted it was fixed and a slider was added in, but I still couldn't play because of this! I don't have a particularly powerful Pc, I mean first off It's a laptop, Quad Core A8 3500m overclocked to 3.0ghz and an AMD Radeon 6650M crossfired with an AMD Radeon HD 6620g2 (as I bought it) so it should be able to play this game above 10 fps, I really don't see how this could happen without it being a shoddy console port.
This makes me glad that I bought it in a steam sale for £5.99 but still, this game is unplayable, and DOESN'T WORK.
Could I not call upon the Sale of Goods act of 1979, Section 14(2) which states goods should be of merchantable quality, which I don't see how this game is in it's current state, sure for some people it works, but for others it is down right ridiculous.
Good day.

Replied to this post in feb, almost may now and no actual SUPPORT. Seems like nobody gives a hoot.

Re: [FIX] Lag and Framerate issues. PC
It's a shame, really. There was a patch today but it didn't fix a damn thing, performance-wise.
I've tried all the fixes that the OP stated in this thread but nothing still.
The worst part is that the performance is for a lot of users. I've seen people in these forums comlain about their top-of-the-line rigs not being able to handle it while I have a friend who's new computer runs it beautifully. My computer has more powerful hardware than my Fiancee's, yet hers can run the game just fine.

Re: [FIX] Lag and Framerate issues. PC
Yea, I was hoping the last patch would fix something and maybe gotten a little excited, but when I read the update log there was nothing in it about fixing any framerate issues. Just a new map, mode and some DLC junk. I would like some news at least if they're working on the issue or not, because honestly if this game ran better they'd probably have more sales on DLC, since people will probably still be playing it. There is a plethora of people still posting in the DXdiag thread, and no word from the devs. I give up on this game and I feel if I come back even a year later, there will still probably be framerate issues or the game is shutdown.
