tbh I've played fps games so long on PC that I don't need a reticule to know where the center of my screen is anymore. It's habit that my aim just goes to where I want it to now without thinking about it at all. The crosshairs do help though for exact aim.

yea I guess on PC things might be a bit different considering the control you have.

Also, I was gonna mention it in my original post but ended up not, I think having a smaller screen might play a role in it too, maybe even being an advantage in some aspects.

I can't recall really thinking that much about the reticle.

I mostly just try to shoot people in the face.

Don't really need to look/focus on the crosshairs to know whre they are, so I can focus on the enemy most of the time, which helps a lot with staying on target when he moves.
I only actively use my reticle if I'm already on target, the guy doesn't move to much, and I want to make extra sure I get headshots.
But in general I think its better to concentrate on the target and the more you get a feeling for where the center of your screen is, the better your aim gets.
