Re: Great Loadout for Inflatable Insoles!!

yeah but not having to worry about motion sensor is easily worth the peace of mind especially since i play a lot of TDM with campers and the like. the class is plenty fast, 140 hp is well enough to get away especially when i can heal most of that whilst leaving to flank them from an even more unsuspecting place, grab a kill and by the time thats over i can heal the rest of the way with another can.

I see :P. Well, I decided to have a fleet-footed class. Right now I'm wondering if Horse Healthy would be better.

Re: Great Loadout for Inflatable Insoles!!

Been using the insoles for quite a while now and they have become my favorite gadget.
Kind of hard to get used to them, but its definitely worth it.
Useally i run them with Gatekeeper/Partisan, but lately I run Huntsman/Gatekeeper.
My thinking behind this weapon combo is, that the Huntsman probably is the best weapon in the game as far as damage/rate of fire/accuracy goes but has the big drawback of only having 10 rounds per clip, which often is not enough to kill an enemy if some of your shots miss.
So using the insoles i noticed, that while double jumping I rarely ever get hit giving me easily enough time to switch weapons.
This kind of negates the Huntsmans drawback, so I put it on my II class.
What ill do is I run around with the Huntsman in my hands and when I see an enemy I empty the clip into him, not jumping at first, only strafing to be as accurate as possible (I only jump if im taking to much damage and feel I wont survive otherwise).
Once the clip is empty I double jump while switching my weapon, than keep jumping while finishing him off with the Gatekeeper.
I use it with Burly or Tough tho, as lately I rarly find a Game with less than 2 rocket launcer only guys and its just to frustrating facing them with a nimble, even with insoles.

Thanks on providing some tips for the insoles I find a lot of people having problem with their aim with the Huntsman.

Very nice, I subbed! I like this gadget too, it's quite fun. I prefer it over the spring boots, I like how it boosts jump rather than replacing it, feels more intuitive for me to use.
