It restarted while I was on GCI (froze) and another while I was simply trying to quit the game to play another.
Wireless (router) and I had downloaded what was out at that time. It hasn't restarted for about a couple of weeks now, and I have a slim PS3.

yes i think if i dont back out all the way to the play now screen it seems to restart my ps3, idk if it fixed itself but it hasnt done it today but i have been backing out to the play now screen ,

nat type 2 DMZ ON and now for some reason i cant play ,, the power went out on me in a lobby and whn it came back on i couldn't get into a game so i did a connection test and said i was type3 so i went into router and configed again and now its type 2 again but still gettn connection failures EVERYTIME! is it cause DMZ is on?? but thats the only way i can get it to type 2 so idk what to do.. Ugh.....

My GCI froze in lobby and when I tried to back out of the game, it restarted.

-Wired internet connection connected to router
-all previous patches downloaded successfully.
-Fatty ps3

slim, wireless. Restarts when exiting game about 20% of the time.

i have a new PS3 Slim and it Hard Resets My system whenever a match wont fully load or when i hit the PS button and select quit game it will stall then do a full hard reset . when it does reset a screen will come up saying" data may be courrupt scanning files" thank god mine is not, but it causes this process to happen and can very well cause your Hard Drive to become Courrupt

Wireless, All patches successful in the past, Slim. It tends to restart completly whenever I quit the GCI game or select another game to play (insert a disc, play another downloadable). I'm concerned because this could damage my PS3's harddrive from constant restarting.

Did the issue ever resolve itself? And if so, how?: No, it restarts when I quit the game or shutdown the ps3.
Do you have an old PS3, or a new Slim PS3?: Slim PS3
