Is your PS3 restarting? Did it? We want to know more

I have a regular PS3 with a wireless connection. Every time I search for a game my router has a spasm and resets and I get signed out of the PSN. Also, the one time I have gotten into a game (miraculously), my PS3 froze. What do? Someone help. Would it help if I had a wired connection?

upon freezing hold the ps button for 2-5 seconds, it sometimes can unfreeze your system. restarting when quiting game is normal, so is 3 beeping when you turn it off while GCI is open, i think this is what they are trying to solve with this thread

This is incredibly stupid. I'm really sick of only being able to play once every 45 minutes. I just played a game about an hour ago, my ps3 froze in the lobby and restarted. I start the game back up and it freezes before I can even find a game and does the same thing. I posted a topic complaining about this so hopefully whatever the problem is it gets fixed asap. Sick of my Ps3 slim which isn't even a year old (actually it's about 7 months) keeps freezing about 3-10+ times a day. And this is the only game that causes it to freeze.

just downloaded the demo today..has restarted 3 times so far..3 bleeps and freeze.40gb ps3 wireless router....
i also tried unlocking the full game it says no content available ????

wireless, slim and worked fine but i didn't get anything, no shell or boarding party. the new map doesn't work the lobby reforms it self every minute, but i did have the pirate costumes and the feat of proudness for the shell, boarding party and fun fact. even then i cannot buy/unlock them because the don't show up anywhere else besides feats of proudness. What should i do or can i update it again? i have had the game since the beta.

Downloaded newest patch (1.03 on PSN) and it installed fine. Booted the game up, couldn't find any players. Shut the game off from the xmb and the PS3 rebooted with two beeps.

Wireless connection, been happening since the beta, installed every patch without any trouble. I tend to do something to prevent it from restarting, i usually press the ps button, and before pressing quit game i wait a little bit, until everything loads up, then when it asks me for confirmation i wait a couple more seconds and select "yes". Takes some time until it exits but at least it doesn't restart. I own a slim ps3
