BEAR TRAPS! Anyone else love to use them?

One of the most satisfying ways to kill someone, for me, is to see the little notification that an enemy player has gotten caught in one of my traps, running over to the location, seeing my opponent still there limping around with my trap clamped on his or her ankle, and then finishing them off. Or being trailed by an opponent running around a corner, throwing down the trap, and watching as they get snagged and have the tables turned on them.

Not to mention, it often helps out the rest of the team when you give them some easy targets (as in a player on the other team stuck in a trap.)

One of my fave support items... I lovethat they persist for a short time even after you die too. I tend to just drop them anywhere... Love getting the trap points even if I don't hang around to kill thee trapee.... On the other side of the coin, I hate getting trapped in them, frantically struggling to get out before the trap layer comes rushing back to kill me.

Have you considered using the Wooden Legs Fun Fact? It would make you invulnerable to Bear Traps, in case you didn't know that already.

Yea.. I don't find it happens enough to need a fun fact... but I definetly start sweating wen it happens cuz i'm certain the trapper is gonna come running round the corner any second with his persuader blazing...lol

As a speedy ninja, I find wooden legs invaluable simply because BT's have no effect and it also prevents me from dying to annoying placed Trap Boxes. When you're flying around cloaked those damn things tend to catch ya off guard.

I hate walking into these things. Was thinking of using my next key on it. Wish there was a way to shoot them off of team mates that are already caught in a trap.

I just wish you could shoot your teammates for being stupid sometimes.

I do feel like the "capture" time for the Bear Trap is a bit too long.. but, then again, they're kinda easy to spot for the most part. Plus if you shoot them with a persuader, you get lots of "Neutralize Defense" bonuses.
