Stats resetting? Let us know more here!

Did it happen when you upgraded from the trial version to the full version? If not, when?:
No, it happend after playing a few hours straight. It started giving me warnings about not being able to save. After resetting the game, I had to read the terms again, and found out that my save file was gone. Everything really was gone, it even saved again.

The next day I entered the game via an invitation I got from an online player. I accepted it and thought; might as well start over again. Suddenly my original profile with all the correct stats (and coins) was reloaded.

Perhaps I just got very lucky, but I needed to share this option though!
Hopefully this might work for somebody else too!

If you go look at the admin's posting history you can see he has responded in other threads, but not this one.

It looks like, according to what I've read of the admin's posts, they're aware of the issue but it seems like they need to have more people's stats reset to pinpoint the problem.

So they let the issue go on to find out what's causing it without warning the playerbase this could (or will eventually) happen to them nor do they let us, the ones who lost our stats (some of us multiple times), know if we will be getting those stats back...

Infuriating.

Truthfully, we're doing everything we can. The more data that is available to us, the more likely it is that we'll be able to zero in in the problem faster.

I'm just worried that this issue is going to dissolve the online player-base. I'm waiting for a fix, and haven't touched the game since the stats disappeared last weekend...and from the looks of other posts in the thread others are doing the same. A downloadable online shooter runs the risk of having their player base evaporate even in the best of situations, and I fear that something like this could drive people away.
Lets hope not, the game is great and it could/should have legs to last. But this stats reset thing has to be fixed sooner rather than later, otherwise there wont be anyone left playing the game if they wait too long.

So he has replied in this thread, great. I guess I missed it.

My point still stands about letting the issue continue but not update us on if we get our stats back. We're guinea pigs right now.

May have been discovered already but after the reset I noticed that all the stats are still recording correctly on the leaderboards. Even though I restarted from lvl 1 again, the leaderboards are still keeping up with everything.

Exactly, it's in Monolith and WB's best interests to sort this out because any chance of a thriving community or future revenue from DLC or whatever will be lost. People will go back to their Battlefields and Call of Dutys if GCI isn't fixed soon. I'm sure not playing it again until the problem is fixed, and even then I may not have the motivation to go back if my stats are irrecoverable.

Not playing and still waiting for some type of SUBSTANTIVE response to this reset problem we're all having, so I've added more details to my original post...

Been playing full version since it came out. Reached level 55 this past Sat night (with over 2000+ kills and kill/death ratio of 2.29). System was properly turn off. No errors. Got back on to play Sun AM, but now it shows me at level 1. Site shows #s from last matches, but all stats listed on same page are 0. Do you have any backup? Is there any way to get my real stats back, like a restore point? Want to play but want to start at the level I left off.

Not only that. I feel ripped off! I got to play my game for 3 or 4 days before my data was lost. Yes, I want my data back but even more so I want to know that it won't happen again. I'm not willing to even play this game because I feel that any progress I make might be lost AGAIN.

It happened when I was playing the game with friends last night around 9:00 P.M. EST, and all my stats got reset. I understand i only had 9 hours played, and i was only a lvl 48, but it still bugs me. I played the closed beta, and open beta, for a total of 23 hrs.
Nothing odd happened, and all I did was hit the quickplay for Netfilx, and after watching South Park, i went back on and it showed everything was locked up, and all my stats were reset. I`m not asking for a refund, but I am asking for my stats to get back up the way they were, because I sold Call of Duty MW3 to get this game. And i will play this game forever.
Please help.
